Quick answers
How many guesses do you get in a word game? Usually six for a five-letter word. Some games add a guess for longer words. In Pinteza the daily word can be five, six, or seven letters, and the seven-letter days give you a seventh try.
What is the best word to start with? One with five different, common letters so you light up as many tiles as possible on the first go. There is a proper answer with examples in the tips guide.
Is there a daily word game in European Portuguese? Yes. Most Portuguese options lean on Brazilian spelling, which trips up players in Portugal. Pinteza is written in real European Portuguese (and English). More on that in the games list.
